Adult First Aid | CPR AED

Course Overview

In this Adult First AID | CPR AED class, you will learn the skills necessary to recognize an emergency and the ability to save a life if someone is in cardiac arrest. We teach with a hands on approach and every participant will have their own mannequin to practice CPR and apply an AED.

AEDs

This course cover the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillators). You have probably seen these in office buildings, gyms, airports, metros, sporting events, schools, grocery stores, places of worship, and community centers. By knowing where they are located and having the ability to use an AED, you can provide critical aid in any circumstance.

First Aid

First aid techniques and other important topics are taught. For example:

Benadryl and Epi-Pens for bee stings and allergies
Strokes, Seizures, and Altered Mental Status
Overdoses – Narcan
Heat Exhaustion, Heat Stroke, and Hypothermia
Minor bleeding control
Breathing difficulty, Asthma

Our instructors have a combined 30 years experience teaching CPR to all skill levels and group sizes. We never wish upon any of our students to have to implement these skills, but after our class you will be empowered with the skills necessary to save a life.

Pediatric First Aid | CPR AED

“Launched in October of 2015 by the White House, Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and a call to action. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.” – Department of Homeland Security
